Included in this portfolio are abandoned landmark or historical buildings in Australia and China. I wanted to use landscape photography to show the lost and historical buildings. I am also inspired by the American photographer Ansel Adams in my photography. He describes the beauty of natural light and shadow through black and white photographs so that the photographs are presented to the viewer like a kind of painting. So many of my photographs are in black and white as the background colours of the photographs, and at the same time, I use the overlapping of light and shadow to make the beauty of the historical and old texture of the abandoned buildings more conspicuous and prominent. I believe this set of photos will be popular with those who love adventure, those who love history and those who love landscape and architecture photography. I want to tell you not to forget the past, but also to use the past to create a kind of art.
